Based in Rochester, New York, we are a family-owned business, with three generations on the Home Leasing team. Susan B. Anthony, known for being a national leader of the woman’s suffrage movement, was active in Rochester and is also buried in Mount Hope Cemetery. Home Properties, Inc. was formed in 1993 and, on August 4, 1994, the company became a public company via an initial public offering. Home Properties dates back to Home Leasing Corporation, a company founded in 1967 by twin brothers Nelson and Norman Leenhouts.
